Bobbing

My good friend Fiona gave me this gorgeous Origami Bird Mobile for Christmas [Thanks Fi]. I have it hanging beside my desk. I'll be busy working and then I'll notice the birds bobbing away... gives me a sense of enormous well being and then I'm happy for the rest of the day safe in the knowledge there will always be a bit of my heart devoted to procrastination.

Things I found...

Just did a massive clear out of artwork from school, college and last two years. Found lots of funny and odd things. I used to say 'word' a lot. The rainbow flecks are coloured candy that we ran through the printing press with an etching.

I watched Gimme Shelter at the weekend (the Maysles brothers documentary about the Rolling Stones 1969 tour, which culminated in Meredith Hunter's murder). Back in scrap business.

I cleared out a decades worth of junk from several boxes last weekend. In the process I rediscovered lots of collected paper items that need scrap booking. So my scrapbooks are back with a vengeance and I’m going to try do at least three pages a week... Well that’s the aim anyway.

Saturation point.

Something that was said to me today. This weather. My poor brain. And this photo from Iceland when we hid in the car and watched tourists get drenched.
